Shelbi has a buddy. Kaylee is just one month younger than her and a total doll. I met her mommy in our foster care classes a year and a half ago and we've kept in touch ever since; so we finally decided to get the girls together for a play date! It was too cute watching them interact..as much as two one-year-olds do! But we had a great time...
We're keeping their family in our prayers though...even though their adoption is getting closer to being finalized, they have had it rough. A lot of unknowns, surprises, and close calls of losing their precious little girl. And even though parental rights have been terminated on her, the bio parents have filed an appeal leaving my friend a nervous wreck. Fortunately, those things are never reversed, and their happy ending should be just around the corner, but the journey has been long nonetheless. But God is good, and amazingly faithful, and we know that it is only a matter of time before the whole thing is only a distant memory... These children are such a blessing... a miraculous, priceless gift.
