If water sliding was an Olympic sport I'd train for the gold. On Wednesday we took the boys to the water slides for Christian's 7th birthday and I think I had more fun than the kids! I mean really, what's not to like about flying down a slippery tube of wet, cool water and landing safely in a small pool five stories below where you started? I was looking forward to this
trip for weeks; probably even more so than my boys! Auntie Jen and Trent drove down with us, then Staci and Kenna joined us shortly there after. We had a blast. And little sister stayed home with Grammi, so no one was on my hip for like, 8 hours! A personal record for me I think...

The majority of the population is just as flawed as I am! It's funny how people look in the real world; not exactly like we think they do. As women we compare ourselves to about .5% of the population, when in reality, we probably look even better than about, 75%! Not that I enjoy flaunting my big booty to the world (and I don't have to...thanks
Land's End!!), but most women don't look like the ones we see in magazines. In fact, the only 2 or 3 gorgeous girls I saw were no more than 16 years old. 16?!! Gosh dang it, I looked good when I was 16 too!! (Of course I didn't realize or appreciate it ...) What's even funnier, was when I saw a woman walking around proudly in her string bikini...flaunting stretch marks, cellulite and all, I stared in horror, wondering why on earth she would want to advertise such flaws. And then I'd remember... the only difference between her and I? I was smart enough to cover it up!!
