Our Little Ark... (minus all that rain)

Dylan's new best friend. "Fwoggy" lives in our backyard and is much adored by our creature loving little boy!

What can I say? Like mother like daughter...
"I want to love him and squeeze him...!!"

Christain: my conservative traditionalist. Prefers man's best friend alone...

Yes, we have alot of pets. We go through cats like some people go through toilet paper. They find us, run away, I replace them, they come home... it's a vicious cycle. My kids have picked up on this too. Their dad is really no better. When one of our dogs goes missing (is sold) or "to be with Jesus", Jus has the next one picked out before we've even finished the funeral. I usually find out about it a few days before the animal is scheduled to arrive. Then I get the bill. He's not big on shelter rescues like me. But it's fun, the kids love when new kitties are born by "suprise", and they have become very tender-hearted because of it (at least that's my justification...).

So the other day I was at Michaels with Mel and saw this perfect little jelly-type, bean stuffed frog that was so life like. At 1$ I new I couldn't come home without him for Dylan... So I grabbed some slime for Christian, so as to not be accused of favortism (Shelbi's 1, what she dooesn't know won't hurt her...) and I was right. The frog was an immediate prized possession. The next night we were at dinner for Grammi Lynn's birthday and my mom reminds Dylan (right in front of the waitor of course) "Be careful with your froggy Dyl; his guts might come out--"
To which he quickly replied, "Oh, those aren't his guts Grammi, those are his little BALLS!!".

What can you really say after that?

(My oral surgery was 2 days ago. All that worrying over THAT?! Those suckers were popped out in 5 minutes flat. I looked like I just stepped off of one of those busses for the next few hours, with my mouth hanging open, completely numb and fat, and bloody drool hanging from my lower lip... but the pain was manageable! I had alot of help the next day (thanks mom and Jen!!)
but really...after the joy of childbirth? It's all relative now...)

Ok, your Dylan and my Emma are totally a match made in heaven! I could keep an entire blog about her love of creatures from flies to elephants....
I think you need a house in the country! Just think how much your kids would love horses and cows too! :-)

I am so glad that your teeth issues worked out! I do agree, after the joys of child birth a few teeth being pulled not a really big deal ugh?
Love you!
