King Pin...

It takes two I suppose... Nothing like a little help from a pro!

This was fun...She was determined that she was going to bowl too doggone it! Unfortunately the ball weighs almost as much as she does!
Look at that form!... Do they give scholarships for bowling??
Yeah yeah, those high scores don't count when you're bowling with side rails Babe!!
Last weekend we did something we don't do often enough...had a family date night! Not that we're complete hermits or anything, it's just that we're usually busy with commitments or activities with family friends. So when this weekend rolled around with a big "vacant" sign, I jumped on it. We really did have a great time. The boys loved the dirty bowling alley, and played their little hearts out. Having an 18 month old put a new spin on things (no pun intended...) but it wasn't too bad. I only had to chase her down 3 lanes over twice, and she didn't get too far down the alley (on our side fortunately) before I was able to retrieve her without her getting all the way to the pins... Made things interesting. They put up the bumpers too, which was nice. I actually bowled in the 120's!! That's a personal record. And Dylan was a crack up. I now know just how slow a ball can roll while still being considered "rolling"...it was like a bad science experiment...(hmmm, that gives me an idea...). It's about as much fun as watching honey drizzle...But the ironic thing is that he beat big brother by like, 20 points! I was afraid it may cause a little sibling rivalry, but CL didn't seem to mind much. He's such a good sport... So now I'm thinking of our next adventure ("Without friends?! But, who will we play with?!!"), hopefully it will be before the next solar eclipse, because it was really fun just hanging out "us"... maybe somewhere without the fear of catching something contagious on our fingers would be good...
