The Happiest Place on Earth...

Whoo hoo! The Magic Kingdom!!

Christian was in hog heaven...Downtown Disney has a Legos store. Check out this Legos Darth Vader!!

Shelbi has a fast growing fascination with horsies...She sure squealed when she spotted this carousel!

The view from the top is always better...

We love Disneyland!! What better a Christmas gift from Grammie and Papa than a trip to The Magic Kingdom?! It's always so magical. Everything is so pristine and ornate. Beautiful. Especially at Christmas!! This year was even better than the past trips, because both boys could go on nearly every ride. Dyl loves the roller coasters too. He only had us worried once, when we stepped off of Space Mountain and he looked a little green stating, "Oooh, I feewl wike I'm gonna frow up!!". (We may end up in speech next year if this doesn't resolve itself quickly!) The only downside to having a thrill seeking four year old, is when there is a height issue. And the only ride he couldn't join his big brother and cousin on was Indiana Jones. Of course it was the one they had all been waiting for. When he stepped up to the height-checker-thingy his little face just cracked when he realized he didn't make the mark. Daddy was gracious though, and quickly scooped him up and took him away, promising another bigger, better ride while we were gone. Not my favorite Mommy moment...

What a fun trip we had!! And we're already counting the days until our next trip in two months with Grammi and Papa, and Uncle Rod and the fam..another Christmas gift we'll actually remember a year from now!! Christian is already saving his allowance for another trip to the Legos store. That's almost better than the park itself I think! He likes the rides too, but is much more cautious than little brother. Someone has to be rational you know... And Shelbi was gracious enough to show us all just what you can do to entertain yourself in those long lines..
