Come on and ring those bells!! Light the Christmas tree...

We're very much on the count down over here...3 1/2 more days til Christmas and all is merry and bright! I think every year Christmas gets better at our house. Probably because the kids are just too much fun. Traditions have been established, they know what's coming, and it couldn't be better. We made it to Disneyland again with the Wilson gang (and Bithers as well!) and had a blast. Going there at Christmas is the best. The boys can go an all the rides now (except Dyl is still too short for Indiana Jones. boo.), and Shelb was in princess heaven! She has an obsession with Buzz too, and I was scared to death we were going to come home with more boy toys. But ultimately the pink won out, and I was grateful :) When we got home we took a little girl day with my mom and family, and headed to the Nutcracker after a wonderful brunch at the Tea Room. Wasn't too sure how much I would like it, let alone my 2 year old, but was pleasantly suprised. I'm not huge into the ballet, but it was really nice and surprisingly entertaining. And Shelb loved it. At intermission her and Ruby "danced princess" all the way down the aisle...too cute. She still has the program in my car, and holds it whenever she's in her car seat :)

Not a whole lot more going on in these parts. Looking forward to Christmas, and celebrating the day with our family at the in-laws... with my folks, too. Very blessed, yes indeed. No running around trying to appease all of the grandparents. We get off easy and I don't take it for granted! I'm also so excited to watch the kids open all of their gifts Christmas morning...nothing extravagant, but I like to have lots of presents under the tree because their little faces are just priceless. And since we don't really buys toys any other time except birthdays, Christmas is just extra fun! I think the best thing I did this year was start our Christmas savings fund back in the spring. What a load off. Just having some money set aside really set the tone for a more relaxing and peaceful holiday season... Dave Ramsey strikes again :)

Wishing all of our loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! ... "Jesus we remember it's you're bir-er-erth-day!!!"...

It sounds like you've had so much fun! OK, I LOVE that song, I grew up listening to it. My mom has signed that song for church for many years and we even sang it at church while we were in Chicago! My sisters and I sang out loud a cappella, (very few people in my dad's church can hear!) signing with our hands too, while the deaf people just signed the song, haha. How fun to be at Disneyland during Christmas time. I'd love to be there sometime and see how wonderful and magical it is. I hope you had a great Christmas with your family!
