Place Ad Here...

Oh my gosh... What is this world coming to?! I started this post thinking I would sound-off about my infamous car theft this week, when I noticed a new tab on my postings page. "Monetize"??? What in the world is that? So I click. Are you kidding me? I can now make money on my blog by advertising on it??? Yes! It's true! And there are 3 or 4 different layout options for my ads to be placed, so as to gain the most noticablilty. All I have to do is agree to the terms, wait for my dear readers to click on the ad, and viola, freeee money for me! Is this the 21st century or what?? Who wants to get on someones blog with the hopes of catching up on their piddly little lives, and be submerged in a big fat advertisement for tampons?? It says that the ads will be chosen by the companies that best reflect the tone of the blog... where does that leave me? Hmmm...toilet bowl cleaner, kitty litter, diaper cream, and science kits?? It all comes down to the almighty dollar...I wonder what Dave would say. Well, last week's lesson was on odd jobs to help boost your savings...maybe this is my only hopes of ever contributing to my family's budget. Dave would probably say go for it! Ha! Just kidding...that would be too low... even for a cheapskate like me. Besides, the"Monetize" tab wouldn't even give the amount they would pay...."It is subject to many variables...". That narrows it down. Sounds like a politician to me. Maybe this is all part of the bail out plan...
